Automata Studios Ltd. started in Mr. Stafford’s 7th grade science class in the fall of 1991. That’s where two 11 year-old geeks, Branden and Keenan, met and quickly became close friends. They learned how to program together and often talked about how cool it would be to start a company to make awesome software.

For many years the company existed only in the thoughts and dreams of the two friends. But then in 2006 Branden (with a wife and newborn, mind you!) decided to dissolve his existing company, convince Keenan to leave his job, take the plunge, and incorporate Automata Studios. Thus, bringing to fruition plans first laid down 15 years before.

Automata Studios exists to do what Branden and Keenan first dreamed about almost two decades ago – create awesome software.
